Hi all,
My name is Marie Rose Dufour and I’m honored to be the first
person to share their writing space. Well, this is my office. I love writing in
here. The walls are a bright, sunny color, which always
helps my mood, especially during the long winter months. Usually, it’s much
messier than this. I write everything out on paper before I type it into the
computer. So usually, the desk is covered with piles and piles of yellow legal
paper. I’m actually shock I was able to get a picture without one of the cats
in it. They always seem to be posing when a camera is around. LOL!
My husband’s an artist, so you can see his newest piece
sitting on the corner of the desk. He’s going through a werewolf stage, which
gives me ideas for shifter stories. Always too many story ideas and not enough
time to write about them.
I always am thinking up stories in my head, so it was a
natural progression to start putting them on paper. My dream of becoming a
published author came true with the publication of my first novella Fated Mates
by Secret Cravings Publishing in September of 2011!
I live in Rhode Island with my wonderful husband, who the
minute he walked through the door of Friendly's Ice Cream, I knew I would marry
him. We share our little house with two crazy cats who think they share their
house with us!
Here are the places you can find me:
Next week Carolyn Gibbs will be sharing her writing space.
OH! That is WAY too clean!
ReplyDeleteLMAO at Dawne's comment.
ReplyDeleteThat's super cool to have a piece of your husbands art work to inspire you. :)
Of course I had to clean it!!!!! No really, the only thing missing is my notebook. I write everything down in yellow legal pads before I type it into the computer!
ReplyDeleteI only wish my desk could be that clean. I don't think it's looked like that since the first week I brought it home. Drives my hubby crazy, but hey, it's my writing space. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, my...I'm with everyone else. That is sooo need and tidy. Love hubby's werewolf piece too. And I'm so jealous of the color of your printer! So pretty.
