In Appetite For Desire, Courtney Bright is an aspiring chef who takes a special interest in one of her client's children. When she offers to fix a pizza the next time she cooks for the family, the answer is 'no', but that doesn't stop Courtney from making it anyway. This isn't your typical pizza.
Cool Veggie (or Fruit) Pizza:
2 Pkgs refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 pg (8 oz) cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp mayonnaise
1 tsp dill weed
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spread crescent dough into two rectangles, covering baking sheet or stone. Pinch seams together.
Bake 10-12 mins until lightly browned. Remove from oven, cool
completely.
Blend remaining ingredients, smooth mixture over cooled crust.
Toppings:
Choose 3 or 4 veggies (Zucchini, mushrooms, green or red pepper,
broccoli, green onions, tomato (seeded), cucumbers, cherry tomato) or
fruit (grapes, kiwi, apple, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, etc) and
chop.
Veggies: Sprinkle across mxture
Fruit: Place in decorative fashion
Refrigerate
before serving. Use pizza cutter to cut into squares. This is a great
dessert or appetizer which can be made a day ahead.
