Mandy Sorensen, an engineer for the Air Force meets Lew Pecci when he warns her of a serious flaw on an experimental fighter plane. Together they struggle to stop the test flight and save the pilot’s life but neither expects to find love or adventure along the way.
Lew’s friends and family don’t understand his attraction to the paraplegic Mandy, who seems to have little in common with him. Mandy’s own fears about her handicap prevent her from seeing that Lew thinks that a woman her courage and resourcefulness makes her a perfect match for him.
