Romantic Movie Survey- Giveaway

ROMANTIC MOVIE SURVEY

Some people think all romance is alike. If that were true, then all romance writers would be alike, right? Wrong! All romance is not alike, as you readers well know. Then it follows that all romance writers are not alike.
Even if they are different, aren’t some romantic movies stand-outs, movies that would be on the top of the lists of romance authors? I needed to know this, test it out. So I submitted a survey to our authors. If romance writers are all different, then they have different taste in movies or do they all agree on what’s best? Here are the results of that survey.
Here’s a sampling of the best of romance movies as chosen by Secret Cravings authors. As you can see, romance writers have their own favorites and there isn’t one movie or performer than dwarfs the others. I’d take this as a great list of movies to put on my Netflix queue.

  5. I don't have just one favorite. But one of my favorites would be The Ugly Truth. As for why it is one of my favorites, it shows that sometimes love can be there right in front of your face and you have no clue. Then once you realize it, there is no rhyme or reason other than it being love.

  8. Yikes, I have so many, but one of my favorites is, "The Last of the Mohicans."This quote captures for me the suspense and the romance, "You stay alive. If they don’t kill you, they’ll take you north up to Huron lands. You submit, do you hear? You’re strong. You survive. You stay alive no matter what occurs. I will find you…no matter how long it takes, no matter how far. I will find you." — Nathaniel (Daniel Day-Lewis) to Cora (Madeleine Stowe), before jumping through the waterfall.
