  1. I think this is a fantastic reason for a hop! Love military men and women! :D
I don't think that they get enough recognition.
my favorite holiday tradition is waking up with the kids and watching them open gifts. We have a 4 year old, so he still has that light in his eyes when it's Christmas morning. The teens don't get nearly as excited anymore. ;)
Thank you for the wonderful hop!

  2. Welcome to our Blog Hop honoring Wounded Warriors. Hope you enjoy all the fun! Some great prizes will be given away today!
Now, my favorite Christmas tradition is decorating my Christmas tree with my family while listening to traditional Christmas carols. I'm something of a music purist since I was a voice major when I went to college a long time ago. Every year I sing "Oh Holy Night" on Christmas Eve at midnight mass at my church. I look forward to attending mass each year. It is such a spiritual experience. At the end of mass, we turn down all the lights and each person attending holds a candle as we sing "Silent Night, beautiful! Hope you'll share some of your traditions.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

  3. Thank you for supporting a very worthy cause. I am the mother of a US Soldier who has been in the Army since 2001 (13 years) and has done 7 deployments, 4 to Iraq and 3 to Afghanistan. I know what it is like to have my son overseas during the holidays, and it isn't easy.
We have 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren. So now we do a dinner at our house on Christmas Eve with is also my husband's birthday and let the grandchildren have their gifts from us then. On Christmas day we go to our youngest daughter's house where we all gather and have dinner and then exchange family gifts. Family is the most important part and celebrating the birth of Christ.

  6. Feeding my family, especially my relatives who are all alone. We make sure to go fetch the older ones who can no longer drive, and bring them to our house for the whole day, feeding them twice and sharing some laughter and fun.

Thank you so much for supporting Wounded Warrior!
